PABA.

(Para-aminobenzoic acid) This is a vitamin B cofactor that aids the body in its regenerative processes of blood cell formation and protein utilization. When taken internally as a supplement it is thought to promote the body's defenses against damage from ultraviolet radiation, although this finding when applied to topical creams is still somewhat controversial. PABA actually helps the skin, keeping it smooth and healthy, fighting against dry patches and itching and excess flaking. It is also of nutritional significance to hair, helping to restore natural color and sheen when working with the amino acids cystine and cysteine.
