Progesterone Cream for Ovarian Cysts.
Ovarian cysts are products of failed or
disordered ovulation, for reasons presently unknown. An ovarian cyst may
be asymptomatic or may cause variable pelvic pain. Palpation may detect a
smooth, tender mass at one ovary size or a cyst may be found by sonogram
visualization. The cyst may collapse and disappear or it may increase in
size and discomfort during succeeding months. Some cysts may become as
large as a golf ball or lemon before discovery.

Sorry - Product Discontinued
NEW!! NEW!!! BIG DRUG COMPANIES
USING THE FEDERAL TRADE COMMISSION IN AN ATTEMPT TO DESTROY COMPETITION FROM
NATURAL HORMONE REPLACEMENT THERAPIES!!!
Do you remember our newsletter
last year detailing how Wyeth Pharmaceuticals was attempting to stop
compounding pharmacists from prescribing natural progesterone (diosgenin)
after their profits fell by more than 57% from $2.07 billion in 2003 to
$800 million in 2004 (after the WHI study had to be stopped)?
Well, now they have gone after
centers like ours making complaints to the Federal Trade Commission
(FTC). The FTC's position backed by the big pharmaceutical companies is
that Dr. John Lee, M.D.'s studies were not scientific and did not rise to
the standard of FDA and National Institutes of Health studies, and that
our claims about natural progesterone are false, unfair, deceptive,
misleading advertising in violation of the law..
(Please read
what Dr. Helen Pensanti M.D. has to say about this. Read on to how the study
was conducted.)
This is an attempt to force women into taking
unsafe proven cancer causing synthetic hormones using
your tax dollar to harass natural hormone suppliers. We here at the Women's
Menopause Health Center refuse to take away your choice of a healthy
alternative to Premarin, Prempro and the other dangerous drugs. We are
taking a stand against this heavy handed attempt to destroy competition. We
are going to fight for your choice of a healthy way to get through menopause
comfortably and safely.
(Ed. note: This was from our newsletter last year. The
continued harassment by the FTC has caused us to discontinue our wonderful
product. DO NOT be forced
into taking something that can kill you. You may purchase safe
progesterone cream at your local health food store, or find it a lot less
expensively on line at places like ebay and yahoo stores.
Do not let these heavy handed tactics destroy your health!)

WHERE TO APPLY: Return to Eden natural progesterone cream is best
absorbed on thin skin. Natural progesterone cream absorbs into the skin to
the fatty layer then it is transferred into the bloodstream. Apply
Return to Eden natural progesterone cream to the neck, hands, breasts, chest,
inner arms, inner legs, abdomen and feet until absorbed. Remember to
rotate sites when applying natural progesterone cream. If you apply
progesterone cream to your chest in the morning, for instance, apply
progesterone cream to your feet in the evening. Before applying natural
progesterone cream to your face, perform a patch test by applying a small
amount of progesterone cream to a small area on the side of your face to
check for sensitivity reactions. Your face is the most sensitive skin
area on your body.
WHEN TO APPLY AND HOW MUCH TO APPLY:
-
It is recommended that you use
natural progesterone cream from days 6-26 of you cycle to alleviate your
symptoms.
-
Day 1 is the first day bleeding. On
day 6, begin using up to one teaspoon progesterone cream TWICE A DAY,
and use through day 26, once in the morning and once in the afternoon.
For an irregular cycle, use on days 6-26 and you should begin to have a
regular cycle. This could take from 3 to 6 months.
-
Return to Eden natural progesterone cream begins to work 20
minutes after application and lasts in the body for 8 hours; thus TWICE
A DAY applications of progesterone cream are required. You may increase
the progesterone cream dosage by adding up to one teaspoon in the middle
of the day if you PMS symptoms get worse the week before your period.
Discontinue use of the progesterone cream on day 26 of your cycle to
allow your body to have a period. If you begin to bleed before day 26 of
your cycle, stop the progesterone cream applications and start the cycle
all over again. You should get regulated within 3 to 6 months.
-
It is sometimes impossible to use
natural progesterone cream with precision as you go through menopause
because your body is trying to stop your period altogether. Continue to
use Return to Eden natural progesterone cream with as much precision as
is possible until your period subsides. If you have cramps with bleeding,
you can apply Return to Eden natural progesterone cream directly to the
cramping area for immediate relief. After a couple of months on Return
to Eden, your cramps should subside.
See separate progesterone cream
application instructions if you have:
IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
-
Natural progesterone cream is not
suggested for birth control. Progesterone cream can suppress ovulation
if used prior to ovulation time. Progesterone cream can enhance
conception if used starting on the first day of ovulation.
-
If you are using the birth control
pill, it is recommended that you use natural progesterone cream seven
days prior to your period. You may get some relief of your PMS but women
not on the pill obtain the best results.
-
Although there have been no reports
of significant side effects or health problems associated with natural
progesterone cream, we encourage you to find a trusted health care
provider to work with you as you use natural progesterone cream.
-
There have been reports of incidental
spotting, which may be associated with progesterone cream use. This is
usually temporary. A physician should always check any persistent
spotting or breakthrough bleeding. Because some PMS and Menopausal
symptoms may indicate other conditions, please be sure to consult a
health care provider if you ever experience headaches or progressive
symptoms.
-
Natural progesterone cream can
potentially INCREASE THYROID ACTIVITY. If you are taking thyroid
supplements, you should consult your health care provider and consider
lowering the amount of thyroid supplementation you use.
-
DOSAGE MAY VARY PER INDIVIDUAL. A
woman typically produces 20 to 40 mg of progesterone per day in her
ovaries during the luteal phase of her cycle. During pregnancy, the
production of progesterone is taken over by the placenta. A woman in her
third trimester of pregnancy produces up to 400 mg of progesterone per
day.
-
For vaginal dryness, you may apply
part of your dosage of progesterone cream intra-vaginally.
-
For migraines, headaches or night
sweats, you may use a dab of progesterone cream every 15 minutes for an
hour.
