Dr. Johanna Budwig's Green Beans as Salad Recipe.
 

This recipe was translated from German and formulated by Dr. Budwig herself.


1 lb. green beans.
1 large onion
Some savory.
1 tablespoon soya sauce
2 tablespoons flax seed oil
1 tablespoon milk or buttermilk (own preference)
Dash paprika
Black, white and cayenne pepper.

Wash and de-string the beans and break them into pieces. Boil beans with a few leaves of savory (or powdered savory if necessary) in a little water or steam them until tender. Do not overcook them. In a bowl, prepared a marinade by mixing the flax seed oil, milk, finely chopped onion, soya sauce and seasoning. After the beans have cooled, add them to this marinade and mix well.
